Whoever started the rumor that nice guys finish last must have been a gangster or a corporate swindler, because that statement is pathetically incorrect. Nice guys finish first in all life's most important races. A nice guy like you can quickly find support in times of need. And he's sure to find the nicest girl---and keep her! A nice guy like you doesn't have to buy favors or friendship. God rewards nice guys with the kind of peace of mind that can only come with a clear conscience. Nobody ever looks at a nice guy with scorn and says, "I don't know how you sleep at night." Want to feel good and smile through the day? Want to sleep at night? Keep on being a nice guy.
Be the kind of man God can be proud of, and he will reward you with a good and meaningful life

So true. In the worlds eye they finish last. I try to teach my daughter that God allow you to go through things to keep you humble. We know it's only Him that has brought us thus far.
