America is still America, do not think that because a black man is sitting in the Oval Office that racism is a thing of the past...Your son is a class act and if he were white he would be viewed as the best thing since sliced bread...Hell ya, black quarterbacks are viewed much differently..Look at the history of the game....They (black quarterbacks) are in a position that some view them as incapable of handling...I am tired of Donovan getting ragged. He may not be the Jackie Robinson of his era but he sure could be viewed as Hank Aaron.
Looks like it has started to pass ... congrats to Donovan on his contract extension! As an Eagles fan first and foremost, I was hoping he wouldn't stick around in the division for too long so that it'd make it easier for me to cheer for him ... but I will continue to wish him well and support his career. My 5-year old son has already jumped ship & proclaims himself a Redskins fan now! I look forward to the day that he comes back to Philadelphia to be honored by the Eagles for his many years of success here.

Donovan will rise above ... as he has done on so many occasions.
