There's always HOPE

A parent's hope is that your son will play well. That the team will win. That your son will walk off the field. That he can speak without slurring. That he can see without blurring. That his sight won't be sensitive to light. That he can lift his arms and touch his toes and raise his kids and live his life! That's the Hope we as a Parent have at every game. We sigh relief every Sunday or Monday night. There's always hope. "Let's Keep Hope Alive. "

I feel for Donovan and his teammates, battling hard every week. I can't imagine how hard this has all been on all of them. Donovan said today that he has a lot of football left in him and I hope to continue to watch him. But no matter what happens in the future, I am thankful to have had the opportunity to cheer him on for more than a decade now. He has been a great QB on the field, a class act off of it and is my favorite athlete of all time. I hope that he continues to hold his head high, as he has much of which to be proud.
